Job Title: Sr. Analyst, OMS and Omni Channel Solution GC, IT

Location: Shanghai

Report to: Senior Manager, Omni Solution IT


Primary Purpose: The Sr Analyst, Sr. Analyst, OMS and Omni Channel Solution GC, IT is responsible for project delivery and operation support in regards to OMS and Omni channel solutions. The person will bring value to the team with deep understanding of system solutions technical design, business processes, requirement and its priorities, and continuous improvement to these processes.

  • Being the application owner of OMS and Omni channel solutions to govern the application roadmap in relates to all changes and enhancements
  • Contribute to the development of the OMS (Mid-end system) strategy and product roadmap, aligned to company key strategic pillars.
  • Work with business, technical, digital, TPs and other internal work streams: such as supply chain, Finance team, to understand the requirements & carry out the analysis of impact on deliver the design solutions for the OMS (Mid-end), and ensure there are sufficient user stories that have been refined and estimated by the team for upcoming sprints
  • Understand and keep up to date with emerging Ecommerce/OMS, omni-channel initiatives & related technologies, new change/release from the marketplaces, trends and innovative solutions being implemented across the industry, particularly China-specific solutions.
  • Analyze, design, testing and hands-on maintenance & support for OMS, Omni channel solutions and with its associated systems such as Ecomm websites, market places PIM/DAM, ERP, WMS, payment gateway, E-invoice, Analytics, Social Media, databases, etc.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to understand business requests, document and translate the business requirements into system solutions
  • Proactively find opportunities to improve operation processes (across IT and functional departments)
  • Execute system enhancements and new systems through the project life cycle leveraging both internal and external resources
  • Ensures deliverables such as Project Charter, Business Requirement, Functional / Technical design, configuring systems, providing guidance to developers, system testing, coordinating user testing, preparation of training / user manuals, deployment and post-implementation support
  • Collaborate across Tapestry IT teams to improve and maintain systems to ensure consistency and compliance (SOX / PCI-DSS)

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar role with proven track record in delivering OMS/Omni channel projects, enhancements and on-going system maintenance across range of digital technologies
  • Deep understanding of China specific OMS and Omni channel solutions design
  • Experience delivering market place integration, Omni channel solutions delivery in China
  • Experience working under multi-brands are desired
  • Experience and knowledge with WeChat Eco systems, HTML5, web services integration and web technologies (Javascript, CSS, SQL, Java, CDN, etc.)
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills in English (and Chinese, Japanese and Korean are plus)
  • Experiences in partnering with business clients, vendors and across functional IT teams to design and implement systems solutions
  • Adaptable and flexible person who has strong sense of responsibility with ability to manage one’s own time effectively and to prioritize wide range of simultaneous tasks
  • Committed, innovative and positive thinker on getting things done
