You will be the responsible department manager for ECU development in the field of electric drives. The current product focus areas are 2-Wheeler electrification and electric driven compressors with a department size > 40 associates.- Develop and execute a strategy for the electric drive ECU department in alignment with the regional and global business unit goals and objectives.
- Manage a department of project managers, technical project managers, software developers, system engineers and hardware developers to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Responsible for global and regional alignment for work packages and delivery commitment to customer and core development projects.
- Responsible for setting product vision and strategy for all line teams in a VUCA environment.
- Operational Ownership of the department including business planning, controlling, purchasing, recruiting, and retention as well as daily running of the teams together with line managers.
- Oversee the development and delivery ECU products, ensuring that they meet the needs of our customers and are profitable for the company.
- Support achievement of acquisition targets and profitability of acquired business.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to promote creativity, teamwork, and productivity within the department.
- Manage the department budget and resource allocation, ensuring they are used efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry partners.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members to help them develop their skills and achieve their career goals.
- Ensure that the department complies with all relevant regulations and standards.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in leadership roles, with at least 3 years of experience in related engineering field (System, HW, SW, Project Management).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of engineers, computer scientists, or technical project managers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Advanced English language skills.
- Target and future-oriented; good collaboration and coordination skill; able to take over leadership in world-wide operating organization
- Accountable, committed team player, good intercultural competence, structured and systematic thinking, content-based leadership and decision-making approach, high level of resilience, capability of providing stability to associates in VUCA time
- Ability to structure and present complex issues in a comprehensible manner, independent, systematic and result-oriented working and leadership style
- Languages: business fluent in written and spoken English
- Master's degree in Engineering, Master of Science, MBA or similar.
- Knowledge of electric drive system ECU development
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
- Strong technical knowledge of ECU development.
