The role gives the opportunity to broaden skills and expertise in the Accounts Receivable area while being part of the unique LEGO Group culture. Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage debt collection for all assigned countries within EMEA region (Follow up on overdue, disputes, Credit Limit Utilization)

  • Maintaining good relationships & cooperation with stakeholders and customers

  • Ensuring the aging and bad debts of assigned markets are meeting the KPIs

  • Ensuring compliance of company policies and procedures

  • Proactiveness in anticipating the service/customer needs

  • Suggest continuous improvement ideas and support standardization

The LEGO® Business Service Operations (BSO) is a shared service center that delivers HR and Finance services to the entire LEGO Group from 3 locations; Monterrey, Kladno (but moving from Kladno to Prague from the 1st of July, 2023) and Singapore. The purpose of the BSO is to create an effective and efficient platform for growth to support our strategy and reach twice as many kids over the next 5-7 years. The goal of our Accounts Receivable (AR) team is to provide our company consistent, high quality and customer oriented execution of AR processes through partners' management, and thereby enable the BSO to succeed in delivering great value to the LEGO organization.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Experience from a relevant area/function that requires great communication skills with customers and stakeholders and at the same time pays attention to details ideally from international company/shared service center

  • SAP is an advantage and MS Office knowledge is a must (mainly Outlook, Excel)

  • Advanced English and French or German

  • Personal drive, excellent collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with stakeholders

  • Confidence in making informed and justifiable decisions for own functional area

  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve desired outcome

An advantage would be:

  • Understanding various operating systems and processes

  • Being flexible and able to embrace changes, having proactive approach with a can-do attitude
